Confidence through making
Learning practical skills and creating something with your own hands can have a powerful impact on confidence and wellbeing. Every participant leaves with a wooden toy they have designed and made themselves, a lasting reminder of what they are capable of.

Practical numeracy in action
Our workshops naturally embed numeracy through measuring, marking out, calculating sizes and solving practical problems. Participants use maths with a real purpose and can immediately see the results of their efforts.
Safe, supportive and experienced
Designed by Leon Garshong, a qualified teacher with a PGCE and a specialism in numeracy, these workshops draw on years of experience delivering creative learning with community groups across the North East. We are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding and emergency first aid, creating welcoming spaces where people can learn practical skills and build confidence.
